Ramadan Mubarak everyone!
It’s the first day of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Islamic year, when the Quran was revealed) and my summer of traveling has come to an end. Now I’ve got 30 days of fasting at home in the horribly humid SC heat to look forward to.
My dad gets kind of crazy during Ramadan (from the lack of caffeine), so I hope I survive this last month before Turkey!
Here’s my new daily schedule-
10 am: Read a chapter of the Quran
11 am: Learn some freaking Turkish
12:30 am: Work on lesson plans
Hang with Jmart until she’s off to work at 2.
Nap away my hunger.
4 pm: Cook dinner. (I’ll be posting recipes of my mom’s Indian dishes every few days!)
6 pm: Find Monica.
7:30 pm: Be all family-like and spend time with my dad
9 pm: FINALLY! EAT!-Tas
p.s. that’s a photo from Ramadan in Morocco two years ago. I dunno, I don’t really like plain text posts. Oh and also, I’ll post some photos from Orlando soon!
